Dr. Goodman is Vermillion School District's very own Scientist in Residence. She visited our classroom on January 20, 2004 to conduct experiments with us. Check out the pictures and comments below to see all the things we learned.

It was

Lydia

Dr. Goodman put a blue ice cube in the water a blue tornado came out of the bottom. When the ice melted the water was blue.

Austin

I learned about ice. I liked everything!

Dusk

Dr.Goodmen came Wednesday it was fun .There was dry ice when you feel it will hurt you kind of.

Jaden

She poot dry ice in food coloring

in whater and it boyld.

Tim

She did water and dry ice it make smoke. We did a color ice cube put

it in a cup of water and it did make

a tornado in the water.

Mackenzie

I learnedThat if you have water

and ablue ice cube. And a really,

really, realy, ice make fog. it made

a little torndo.it makes whater heat.

Jayce

It was cool. She showed us cool stuff. One is she put dry ice in water it looked so cool because smoke came out.

Tierzah

Dr. Goodman talked about evaporation. I liked working with the water.

Nick

I learned that ice is water. Another thing I learned is that ice goes up and not down. I like it when we got to measure.

Abby

I learned that when we put ice in warm water it melts. I liked when we tried to get exactly 25 melemeters.

Sarah

I learned the water temperature is 80 but when she put the ice in it was in the 20's. The part I liked was when she put the blue ice in water.

Kalli

Dr. Goodman taught us water vapor and she taught us about temperature. I like science class.

James

I learned that if you had a bigger cup it would need more to fill it up to the top.

Jay

I learned that if you color an ice cube, the color goes down and the ice goes up.

Kelsey

Dr. Goodman came into our class. I learned that little tornadoes come down from the blue ice cubes.

Abreaunna

Dr. Goodman

Crimson

I learned that 25 milliliters doesn't fill some containers all the way to the top.
