FLAG DUTY

Each day four second graders will have flag duty! The students will raise the flag in the morning and lower the flag in the afternoon. On Fridays, the second grade classes will all meet at the flag pole for the raising and lowering of the flag. The pledge will be said and signed and patriotic songs will be sung.

Mr. Aakre has taught and trained each second grade classroom proper flag etiquette. The students are learning to raise, lower, and fold the flag under Mr. Aakre's supervision.
